- Ultimately, the PADI Open Water Diver course is the world's most recognized scuba certification. It is your passport to a lifetime of adventure, allowing you to dive with a buddy anywhere in the world without the supervision of a PADI Professional.
- Age Requirement: Minimum 10 years old. For instance, divers ages 10-14 will earn a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification with specific depth and supervision limits.
- Time Commitment: 3 to 4 days to complete, depending on your pace and study method.
- Depth: Certified to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters (divers aged 10-11 are limited to 12m).
