Your Path to Becoming a Certified Diver
The course is divided into three main phases, because each is designed to transform you into a safe and confident diver.
- Knowledge Development This is the theoretical part of your training. Here, you will learn the fundamental principles of scuba diving, including dive planning, scuba physics, diving equipment, and underwater communication. Finally, you have the flexibility to complete this section online through PADI eLearning, in a classroom, or by reading the course manual.
- Confined Water Dives This is where the practical learning begins. For example, under the direct supervision of your PADI Instructor, you will complete a series of up to five Confined Water Dives. You will practice essential scuba skills in the calm, controlled environment of a pool or a shallow, confined area. Your instructor will work with you through each of these sessions until you are completely comfortable and confident with skills like mask clearing, buoyancy control, and emergency procedures.
- Open Water Dives As a result, this is the most exciting part! You will apply all the skills you've learned during your four registered dives in the stunning Red Sea. Furthermore, in Aqaba, this means gaining real-world experience, exploring vibrant marine life, and putting your new abilities to the test in a beautiful, natural environment.
